The modern Chaletdorf is located on a sunny hillside between Neukirchen am Großvenediger and Wald im Pinzgau.
Just right in the middle of the Wildkogel Arena (highlight in winter: the 14km illuminated toboggan run) and the Zillertal Arena.
The Chaletdorf offers Austrian-style chalets with all comforts, high quality fittings and interior design of alpine life-style.
A tasteful combination of wood, stone and large windows create a bright atmosphere with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.
Chalet Edelweiss with 135 m² living space has the following facilities:

Depending on snow conditions, we recommend using snow chains as the chalets are situated on a hillside.

Wald im Pinzgau
For a well-earned rest, look no further than the peaceful setting of Wald im Pinzgau. At 900 metres above sea level, this village lies between the alpine meadows of the Pinzgau to the north and the Hohe Tauern National Park to the south. A ‘get away from it all’, this cosy holiday resort offers magical sleigh rides and romantic winter walks. Yet, with its own 7 km cross-country trail and access to a further 200 km in the Pinzgauer network, it is a big hit with keen cross-country ski enthusiasts.
Nearby winter fun
The neighbouring ski resort of Königsleiten lies at 1600 metres, only several kilometres away with its extensive Zillertal Arena, guaranteeing fun on the ski slopes. Take a ride to the top station and try out the high altitude cross-country trail or discover the night sky at Königsleiten’s astro-observatory. With the Wald guest card, you can drive through the Gerlos Pass or use the ski bus which runs regularly between the Zillertal Arena ski resorts and the Wildkogel ski area.

Summer activities for all
Wald is the ideal base from which to enjoy an active holiday in the midst of magnificent mountain scenery. Wonderful hiking and bike tours along the Tauern paths are a stone’s throw away, while the world-famous Krimml waterfalls with ‘WaterWorld’ are just 7 km from your doorstep. Mountain bikers and climbers are also well catered for.
The Kristall Pool complex with its own restaurant is open all year round, offering water-lovers memorable hours of fun with its in and outdoor pools and tunnel slides; and for spa enthusiasts, unwind and relax in its sauna, spa and treatment areas. An absolute ‘must’, too, is a ride in the SummitLiner in Königsleiten, where you can enjoy a bird’s eye view from 2300 metres above sea level!
