At 900 metres above sea level, this village lies between the alpine meadows of the Pinzgau to the north and the Hohe Tauern National Park to the south. The neighbouring ski resort of Königsleiten lies at 1600 metres, only several kilometres away with its extensive Zillertal Arena, guaranteeing fun on the ski slopes. Take a ride to the top station and try out the high altitude cross-country trail or discover the night sky at Königsleiten’s astro-observatory. With the Wald guest card, you can drive through the Gerlos Pass or use the ski bus which runs regularly between the Zillertal Arena ski resorts and the Wildkogel ski area.
